A New Beginning. Kurumi X Male Reader Part 5

    There were sounds of gunshots and explosions everywhere as Kurumi fought the people that had attacked the two of you. She was using her pistol and rifle to blast away anybody that was in her line of sight. Thankfully there was apparently an unlimited amount of ammo in both of her guns. There were also several clones that were flying around with their own weapons.

    Where were you while this amazing battle was going on? Well you were still stuck inside the car. You had been knocked unconscious when the car flipped but you were starting to wake up. The first thing you noticed was that you were upside down. Then you noticed that there was blood dripping from your head to the hood of the car. Then everything else came back to you.

    Sound rushed back to you and you heard the gunshots and sound of jetpacks. Panicking you tried to unbuckle your seatbelt only to succeed in smashing your head into the roof of the car. Groaning you crawled out of the car and tried to get your bearings. Looking up you could see all of the Kurumi clones flying around killing police officers and jetpack girls.

    It was so reminiscent of the first time you saw her that you couldn't help but lose yourself in the moment. That changed quickly when you were grabbed from behind and had a gun put against your head. On reaction you kicked the person behind you, aiming for the crotch. You felt it connect and the grip loosen as the man grunted and reached fro his crotch.

    Having no idea what the hell you were doing you picked up the gun that was on the ground and pointed it at the officer's head. You paused as you started to realize what you were doing. Soon the officer did too. There were a few seconds of staring between the two of you. It was silent all around as if everything else had just stopped.

    Then the man moved and you pulled the trigger. The gunshot seemed louder than all the others surrounding you as the officer fell backwards with a hole in his head. Time slowed down for you as you looked at his lifeless body and the smoking gun in your hand. You didn't even notice the other cops surround you and put you in handcuffs. While they were restraining you Kurumi had taken notice and had moved towards you.

    Noticing that she was going out of her way to make sure that you were safe the surrounding officers pulled their guns out and aimed them at you. Getting the hint she stopped in midair and made her clones stop as well. She was quickly restrained as you were dragged away and forced into a car, the face of the man you shot burned into your mind.

    Hours later you were inside a large building in the center of a city. You had no idea what city it as you only got a brief look as you were taken out of the car and into the building. Regardless you didn't see much for a while after that as you were put inside an enclosed room with no way to open up the door from your side. You were there for what seemed like days. The only time food showed up was when you fell asleep. You tried staying up once to catch when they put food in but they never put the food in while you were awake.

    Things continued to go on like this as you yelled and screamed at anyone who was listening to you. You wanted them to show you where Kurumi was. You wanted to see her now but they wouldn't show you where she was. Every moment the face of the man you killed passed by your eyes making you regret every moment you lived. For days you've heard nothing but your own voice until finally the door opened. You quickly picked you head up off the cushion of the bed that was the only piece of furniture in the otherwise empty white room.

    "We need you to come with us." A woman said.

    There were two armed guards flanking one professional looking woman. She was the one who had spoken when the door opened. You wanted to do something, anything, to get away from these people. Yet you knew that if you tried anything you'd most likely get shot.

    "To where?" You asked them.

    "You'll see."

    You were led down a series of halls at gunpoint by the woman. She held a pistol pointed at your back while the other two men went away. You wondered why they even had to show up in the first place.

    "So what have you been doing to her?" You asked the lady.

    No response.

    "Why do you need me there?"

    No response.

    "How many times did you bang those two guys you were walking with?"

    No response.

    You walked in silence for a little while longer as you came upon a set of doors that led into a big laboratory. As you walked through them you were hit with the sight of Kurumi tied up on a surgical table with armed guards and what appeared to be doctors around her. You ran for her but you were immediately stopped by the armed guards.

    "Kurumi!" You yelled out.

    When she heard your voice she turned her head and saw you. Once she saw you she immediately started to scream your name as she began releasing her powers. Then you heard a clicking sound behind your head and she calmed down. You didn't have to turn to know that there was a gun aimed at your head. You saw the look of fear in Kurumi's eyes and knew at that moment what was going on, and what you had to do.

    Trying to recreate what you had seen in movies you spun around and grabbed the gun as you ripped it out of her hands. Without thinking you shot the woman and turned to shot the guards. You weren't fast enough though. Bullets ripped through your body as the guards opened fire on you. Then they were dead. As was everyone else in the room except for you and Kurumi.

    You collapsed to the ground in you own blood as Kurumi stepped over the bodies of the people she had killed to get to you. You were actually surprised at how much getting shot fucking hurt. You put a hand to your abdomen and pulled it up to see it covered in your own blood. Your vision was already starting to blur as you held Kurumi's face with your non-bloody hand.

    "I love you." You told her.

    You didn't hear what she had to say as you lost consciousness and then died in her arms. There was silence for a few seconds as Kurumi slowly realized that you had departed from this world. Overcome by rage Kurumi did something she swore to herself she wouldn't do since she met you. She released a spacequake the size of the city the building was in killing everyone in it instantly. Yet the deaths of thousands did nothing to alleviate the pain in her heart as she wept over the body of er dead love.

    -Five Months Later-

    You sat in your apartment living room staring at the TV. There was no one home as both your parents were working late and your little brother was still in clubs. Nothing was on the TV and you preferred it that way. You could really let your imagination wander to wherever you wanted it to go. At that moment you were stuck on a dream you had around five months ago. Even though it had been so long you could still remember what it was about. You still remembered shooting that man, remembered dying, and you remembered Kurumi.

    You shook you head as you tried to also remember that it was all a dream. Though there were days that you wished it was real. Almost as if an answer from God there was a knocking at your door. Curious at who it was you walked over and opened it. You took a step back in surprise as the person standing in front of you was none other than...some weird girl wearing gothic Lolita.

    Trying not to laugh at her ridiculous outfit you did notice that she was in fact very beautiful. You felt as if you had seen her before but there was no way you have. Nobody you knew had such a unique personality as this girl.

    "Can I help you?" You ended up asking her.

    "Yeah actually you can." Came a soft and sweet voice that you didn't expect from a girl wearing gothic Lolita. That was when you got a really good look at her face and realized that she was the same girl from your dream.

    "Can you love me again (f/n)?" She asked as tears stated to form in her eyes despite her radiant smile.

    That was what did it. Suddenly memories flooded into your head as if they had always been there. You knew it was someone else from the fact that they undoubtedly died at the end. Though it would be more accurate to describe it as another you in another world.

    With the memories you couldn't help but feel and know that you loved this girl. Something you made obvious as you pulled her in and kissed her on the lips. You held her there as you tried to convey everything that you were feeling that couldn't be said with words. Finally you pulled away.

    "I will always love you Kurumi, no matter which me you ask."

    This was your new life with your love called Kurumi.
